On this device

Vykac stores tasting records, label photos, voice notes, sheet images, reminders, and sheet credits on this iPhone. There is no Vykac account. Tasting text, photos, and recordings are not uploaded to a Vykac server.

Camera

The camera is used only after you tap Scan Label, to photograph a wine bottle or label for that tasting. The photo stays on this iPhone.

Photo library

Vykac opens your photo library only after you tap Choose Photo, so you can attach a wine-label picture to a tasting. Other photos stay unchanged.

Vykac adds one finished tasting-sheet PNG to your photo library only after you tap Save Image.

Microphone

The microphone is used only after you tap Record Voice Note. That recording stays on the tasting on this iPhone. Vykac does not turn it into text and does not upload it.

Notifications

Reminders are local to this iPhone. Vykac asks for permission only after you tap Set Reminder and choose both the date and the time. The alert is delivered by the system. It is not sent to a server.

Purchases

Sheet credits are consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple. Vykac keeps the verified transaction identifier and the resulting credit balance in a ledger on this device. A new installation includes 2 welcome credits. There is no Vykac account that can move credits to another phone.

Erase

Erase Sandbox & Reset Storage deletes the tasting records, label photos, voice notes, sheet images, reminders, and purchase history in this installation. The sheet-credit balance returns to the 2 welcome credits from first launch. Removing the app removes what was stored with it.
